Born January 9, 1982 in Reading/Berkshire. Full name: Catherine Elisabeth "Kate" Middleton. After marriage with Prince William: Her Royal Highness Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge

Duchess of Cambridge

Kate is the daughter of Michael and Carol Middleton, who run "Party Pieces", a catering service for children. She has a sister, named Pippa, and a brother, named James. Thanks to the successful career of her parents, Kate had the opportunity to attend the best schools in England. She attended Marlborough College, a British boarding school in Marlborough, Wiltshire. After school she did a voluntary year of social service in Chile. Afterwards she studied History of Art at St Andrews where she met Prince William and graduated with him.

After graduating, she worked as an accessory-buyer at "Jigsaw" for about a year. Then she decided to start a career as a photographer but soon cast away this idea as well. In the summer of 2008 she started helping out at her parents' office. She has often been criticised for not having a steady job by the public, especially the press. It is said that the Official Household has often advised her to do some charity work.

Married Prince William on 29 April 2011. Mother of George (born in 2013) and Charlotte Elizabeth Diana born 2 May 2015.
