This wiki is part of the e-learning activities supplementing the Renaissance Culture lecture series given by Prof Pankratz at the English Seminar of Bochum University in 2008/9.

It aims at providing a guide to the fascinating time of the English Renaissance, offering explanations of the key terms and concepts relevant to the epoch as well as biographies of its most prominent figures in politics and the arts.

All content is user-generated, i.e. everybody (and especially every member of the course) is welcome to make contributions and everybody shares the responsibility of improving these sites and make them a worthwhile tool for exam preparation and further studies.
