Mock epic by Alexander Pope. First version in two cantos published in 1712. Enlarged version in five cantos published in 1714. The story revolves around a a haughty Baron who is obssessed with acquiring a lock of his lover's hair without her consent. This minor incident is then, narrated in a heroic scope by Pope.
