Camilla Parker-Bowles is, since her marriage with Prince Charles, also known as Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall and of Rothesay or Camilla, Princess of Wales, even though she does not use that title.

Camilla Parker-Bowles was born as Camilla Shand on 17th July 1947 as the daugther of Bruce Shand, a famous war hero (Holden 79 ff).

She got married in 1973 to Andrew Parker-Bowles, one of Prince Charles' friends. With him Camilla has two children, Tom (born on December 18th 1974) and Laura (born 1979) (Stritof 1).

She raised public attention (see Camillagate) as Prince Charles' long-term mistress, who finally became his wife in 2005.

Camilla's favorite hobbies are watercolor painting and hunting (ibid.)
