Princess Diana was born on July 1st 1961. She was the third daughter of Edward, Earl Spencer and his wife Frances. Allegedly, she is distantly related to the famous Renaissance author [[Edmund Spenser]] (probably a myth). Be that as it may, she is definitely related to the queen of romance, [[Barbara Cartland]].
