Edward V was born in Westminster Abbey in November 1470 while his father was in exile in the Netherlands (for a short time). He was the son of King Edward IV and Elizabeth Woodville. Edward’s sister Elizabeth of York later married Henry VII. This marriage was also known as a part of the so-called "Tudor Myth" because Elizabeth was from the house of York and Henry VII from the house of Lancaster.
