Full name Charles Philip Arthur George Mountbatten-Windsor. Born 14 November 1948 at Buckingham Palace in London. King Charles III since 8 September 2022. 

He was educated at Cheam School and [[Gordonstoun]] (a prestigious public school). In 1967 he graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, in archeology. He also briefly attended a university in Wales in order to learn the Welsh language (mainly for his position as Prince of Wales). After finishing his studies, Charles joined the Royal Navy and from 1977 onwards he started to represent the British Monarchy at public events.

He got married to [[Princess Diana|Diana Spencer]] in 1981 and their wedding was a public event. However, after much drama and recriminations, they got divorced in 1992.  They couple has two sons, [[Prince William|William]] and [[Prince Harry|Harry]]. Charles married [[Camilla Parker Bowles]] in 2005. 

Today, Charles is known for his charity work. He runs his own charity organisation under the name of "The Prince's Charities".
