'''Elisabeth Blount''' was born in 1502 as the daughter of Sir John Blount of Shropshire, a knight who lived in the reign of Henry VII of England, the first Tudor king of England.
Not much is known about Elisabeth (who was also called "Bessie") except for her beauty and her affair with Henry VIII. When Elisabeth came to his court as a maid of honour of Henry's first wife, Katherine of Aragon, she quickly became his mistress around 1517.
On June 15, 1519 Elisabeth gave birth to her son, Henry Fitzroy, who was born out of her affiar with Henry VIII. Since he was an illegitimate child, he did not qualify for the English throne. After the birth of the son Henry ended the relationship with Elisabeth and started an affair with Mary Boleyn, the wife of the courtier Sir William Carey.
After that Elisabeth married Lord Gilbert Tailboys, who was said to be the son of a madman.
On June 18, 1538 her son died, follwed by Lord Gilbert, who left her as a widow. Later she married Edward Clinton, 1st Earl of Lincoln. They had a daughter, called Catherine.
In 1540 Elisabeth died. Accoding to te legend she died of the same disease as her son.

'''Catherine Elisabeth "Kate" Middleton''' was born on January 9, 1982 in Reading/Berkshire. She is currently the girlfriend of Prince William, who she met at the University of St. Andrews.
She is the daughter of Michael and Carol Middleton, who run "Party Pieces", a party catering for children. She has a sister, named Pippa, and a brother, named James. Thanks to the successful career of her parents, Kate had the opportunity to attend the best schools in England. She attended Malborough College, a public British boarding school in Malborough, Wiltshire. After school she did a voluntary year of social service in Chile. Afterwards she studied History of Art at St. Andrews, where she met Prince William.
Kate has not really decided yet what she wants to do job-wise. For about a year she worked as an accessory-buyer at "Jigsaw". Then she decided to start a cereer as a photographer but soon cast away this idea as well. In the summer of 2008 she started helping out at her parent's office. She has often been criticised for not having a steady job by the public, especially the press. It is said that the Official Household has often advised her to do some charity work.

"The Queen" is a movie about the tragic death of Lady Diana on August 31, 1997. It was directed by Stephen Frears and written by Peter Morgan. When Lady Diana, ex-wife of Prince Charles, dies in a car accident, the whole world is grieving for the famous and much-loved woman. Meanwhile, Queen Elisabeth II. (Helen Mirren) including her family, is staying at Balmoral Castle, unable of showing any sign of grieve for the dead princess in front of the public. For the Press, that is just what they were waiting for to prove the cool emotional distance of the royal family. The newly ordained prime minister Tony Blair (Michael Sheen) sees a public-relations disaster coming and now tries to lead the queen to adress the public and make a statement in tribute to Lady Diana. When even Prince Charles (Alex Jennings) cannot seem to persuade his mother, Tony Blair has to find a way to bring the queen closer to her people again.
For her convinging portrayal of Queen Elisabeth II., Hellen Mirren won the Oscar for best actress in a leading role. The film was also nominated for 5 more academy awards, among them best motion picture and best original screenplay. It had a production budget of 15,000,000$.
